Development One produced bridging documents for the U.S. Probation Office at the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building & U.S Courthouse. The bridging documents were used to bid and award a design/build contract to complete implementation.

This project included tenant improvements of approximately 20,000 sf, with related MEP alterations to adapt to the new plan layout. The design included offices and conference rooms using gypsum board and demountable furniture partitions. Blast protection wall hardening and security design were also incorporated in this project.

The project also included design of a new childcare center in the building. This project included tenant improvements of approximately 8,500 sf for 86 children, with related MEP alterations to adapt to the new plan layout, which includes classrooms, meeting rooms, kitchen and laundry facilities, and offices.
