Development One, Inc was commissioned by the General Services Administration (GSA) to prepare a feasibility study for the repair, configuration and alteration of space on the 3rd floor of the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).

The project involved the following tasks:

  • Conducted a survey of multiple facilities in San Diego area
  • Conducted a survey of vacated office space to use for the new 40,000 sf office space
  • Provided program analysis and space planning including multiple office space options
  • Completed the design of a space plan for consolidating one large space
  • Improvements were implemented to building security to meet tenant requirements
  • Performed upgrades of several building systems
  • Performed Cost Estimating services
