U.S. Coast Guard Office Build-Out, Ronald Dellums Federal Building, Oakland, CA
Development One designed a new office space for the U.S. Coast Guard. The project required careful analysis of the U.S. Coast Guard’s needs and expectations for the office space. Sound attenuation was of utmost importance in this open concept floor plan. Strategies such as implementing sound-absorbent acoustical ceiling tiles, furniture, and flooring helped to meet this goal. The 18,263 s.f. build-out was composed of modular furniture offices, conference rooms, high density storage area, break rooms, and private office spaces.
