Development One, Inc. completed a new fire station design for a single story, 7,500 square foot fire station and generator building at Camp Smith in Oahu, HI.
The fire station design includes:
- Dormitories
- An exercise room
- A dining facility
- Storage rooms
- Solar energy
The building met stringent DOD Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements, such as blast-resistant windows and doors. The fire station design achieved a LEED rating of Silver.
