The Aero Club of Southern California will honor Steven Udvar-Hazy with the Howard Hughes Memorial Award on February 13, 2013, at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles. This is the 34th award to be presented annually to an aerospace leader whose accomplishments over a long career have contributed significantly to the advancement of aviation or space technology.
In the late 1970’s, Steven Udvar-Hazy revolutionized commercial aircraft financing. As a co-founder, former Chairman and CEO of International Lease Finance Corporation, he led what ultimately became one of the largest aircraft leasing companies in the world.
With over 25 years experience designing aviation facilities, Development One, Inc. Architects would like to congratulate Steven Udvar-Hazy on his accomplishments within the aviation industry.
