Development One produced a feasibility study for JPL. The study helped prioritize where and how limited funding would be most efficiently and effectively used.
First, the firm evaluated 10 buildings identified by JPL. We established target workstation density, and reported on the amount of workstations that could be gained if reconfigured.
Next, Development One determined the structural, power, lighting, and HVAC requirements to support the increase in workstations. Recommendations were also made to bring all systems up to code. Furthermore, a probable cost opinion to carry out the upgrades was provided to JPL.
Finally, the feasibility study deliverable included a report listing the 10 buildings ranked from best to least, along with recommended modifications and backup documentation. As a result of this study, Development One was subsequently commissioned to provide bridging documents to convert a parking garage into office space.
