At Development One, Inc., our team has a goal of participating in two “Community Outreach Events” per year. For one of these events, we broke into groups and designed “Little Libraries.” For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, these “Libraries” are placed in communities, and stocked with books. Members of the community can then borrow the books at no charge, and also leave behind books for others to share.
Our team enjoyed the creative process of designing these libraries, and it is rewarding to know that they will be out in the community for years, inspiring children and adults alike to read.
