The Consolidated Information Technology Center is a 22,000 square foot state-of-the art Tier III data center and computer laboratory. The data center is used for the reliable, secure and rapid analysis of critical aerospace flight research data. The new building includes conference facilities and office space for 80 technical staff.
Development One’s data center design considered flexibility and quick reconfiguration as technology demands evolve over time. Building Information Modeling (B.I.M.) was utilized to create three dimensional renderings of the building shell and infrastructure. The project achieved a LEED rating of Silver, and was the first LEED-certified project at the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center.
